Billing and refunds.

Every plan is paid before the period it covers, and any payment can be refunded in full for 7 days after it is taken — the first one and every renewal. This is the part of the terms about money, written out where you can find it without reading the rest.

Who charges you

Payment is taken by Paddle, which is the merchant of record for the sale. Paddle is the name that appears on your statement, Paddle issues the invoice, and Paddle works out and adds any sales tax or VAT owed where you are. FunnelSights is what you are buying; Paddle is who takes the money for it.

Your payment details are held by Paddle and not by us. A card number never reaches FunnelSights, and there is nowhere in the product it could be stored. What comes back to us is the plan you are on, the date it renews, and whether the last payment succeeded.

The trial comes first

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and we do not ask for a payment method to begin it. Nothing is charged during the trial and it does not roll into a paid plan by itself. You start paying when you choose a plan and pay for it.

What you pay, and when

Every plan is paid in advance. You pay for the period before it runs, not after it, so there is no usage bill arriving at the end of a month and no amount you could not have seen coming.

  • A monthly plan is paid upfront and buys the next 30 days. It renews 30 days after your first payment, and every 30 days after that.
  • An annual plan is paid upfront and buys the next year. It renews one year after your first payment, and yearly after that.
  • Renewal is automatic, on the same payment method, until you cancel. The renewal date is fixed by your first payment — not by the start of a calendar month.
  • The amount is the price published on the pricing page when you chose the plan, plus any tax added at checkout.

If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you and it will not take effect before your next renewal. You can cancel instead of accepting it.

Refunds

Any payment can be refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of it being taken. That applies to your first payment and to every renewal after it, and you do not have to give a reason.

  • Write to billing@funnelsights.com. The request has to be in writing, so that both sides have the date it was made.
  • The 7 days run from the date of the payment, which is the date on the Paddle receipt — not from the date you noticed it.
  • We send the refund within 7 business days of receiving the request, in full, to the method you paid with.
  • The money moves through Paddle and then through your bank or card issuer, and how long that last step takes is theirs rather than ours.

A refund request is also a cancellation. The subscription ends, the plan does not renew, and nothing further is charged.

After the window

Past 7 days a payment that has already been taken is not refunded. You can cancel at any time and it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate a part-used period unless the law where you live requires it.

Three things in the terms owe you a refund of the unused part of what you paid whatever the date: if we materially reduce what you are paying for, if we stop offering the service, or if we change the terms in a way you do not accept. Those are not limited by the window above.

If you are a consumer, none of this removes a statutory right you have where you live — including a statutory cancellation period, where one applies to you.

If a payment fails

A failed payment does not cut you off. You have 30 days from the first failure to put it right, and the service runs as normal throughout. The terms set out what happens after that, and why the gap it leaves in your data cannot be filled in afterwards.

Cancelling

Write to billing@funnelsights.com to cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it is not a refund of what you have already paid unless you are inside the 7-day window above, and it is not a deletion — the retention periods in the privacy policy are what govern your data from then on, and you can ask for it to be deleted separately.

Changes to this policy

This version takes effect on 19 September 2026. If we change the cycle, the refund window or who takes the payment, we will say so here and tell account holders before it applies. A change never applies backwards to a payment already taken.

Questions about an invoice, a charge you do not recognise, or anything else on this page go to billing@funnelsights.com.

What Paddle holds.

The payment details never reach us. Where billing data sits, and everyone else who can see anything, is in the privacy policy and the register behind it.
