Privacy comes first

Understand your audience.
Respect the people in it.

No cookies, and no IP addresses or user agents written down — they are hashed at ingest under a salt that is deleted after 48 hours, so a day later the identifier cannot be recomputed by anyone, us included. The domain is inside that hash, so the same person on two of your sites is stored as two different visitors.

Our approach to privacy
01Nothing stored on the device
02IPs and user agents never kept
03Raw events purged after 180 days

Why teams choose FunnelSights

The same useful reports, a stricter data model. No identifiers, no cookies, no grey areas.

No visitor identifiers

Returning visitors are not recognised — not by a cookie, and not by a stable identifier derived from the request instead.

No tracking cookies

Nothing is stored on a visitor’s device to make measurement work, so there is nothing to disclose or ask permission for.

First-party by design

Measurement describes activity on your own site. Nothing is assembled from what visitors did anywhere else.

A short privacy answer

Fewer grey areas when legal or procurement asks what your analytics collects, because the honest answer is short.

Clear about the trade-off

Without identifiers, visitor counts are estimates. We would rather say that than claim an accuracy the model cannot deliver.

A few useful answers
What is first-party analytics?

Analytics that measures activity on your own website, instead of assembling a picture from what visitors did on other people’s sites. Your pages make no third-party request, and you can route the measurement through your own domain.

Does FunnelSights use cookies?

No. Nothing is written to or read from the visitor’s device. A visitor is a hash of the user agent, IP and domain under a salt that rotates daily and is deleted after 48 hours — the IP and user agent themselves are never stored. Whether that removes a consent obligation for you is a legal question we do not answer for you.

Can I look around before signing up?

Yes. The demo is a sample dashboard with illustrative traffic, events and funnels, and it needs no account.
